Student Schedules
School starts on Monday, August 13 and students will be reporting to Homeroom the first thing for the first 4 days of school. Homeroom rosters are posted on our website and will be strategically placed throughout campus. Homerooms are assigned by grade level alphabetically.
In Homeroom, students will be given their schedule along with numerous other first day of school information. Students are expected to follow the schedule they are given. If there is a period in which the student does not have a class – they will be instructed to go to the Counseling office in the BT Building. Generally this occurs when something a student requests in the Spring does not fit into their schedule and an alternate course must be selected.
Classroom teachers will verify student schedules to make sure:
- Students have passed pre-requisite courses
- Students have the courses needed to graduate
- Students haven’t already taken a course
If a student’s schedule meets one of these criteria – then the teacher will send an electronic verification request to the counselors who will be working on these throughout the first two weeks.
If a student has a complete schedule and does not meet one of the above criteria – then their schedule will not be changed. The above three are the only reasons a schedule will be changed.
