How lucky!! You now have time to read Jane Eyre!
To my 8th Period AP class, since you have not yet signed up for a question for our Harkness Table, choose three questions that you find interesting and do some preliminary work on them. We’ll sign up for one particular question to focus on when we get back on Wednesday, February 19th, and then on the 21st, we’ll have our seminar. On that day we will also take Multiple Choice Practice #2, so bring a pencil and a clear head!
The Jane Eyre Question Assignment for Volume 2 is here on the blog.
If you can finish reading the novel entirely, given this extra free time, it would be very wise.
The only other assignment to work on is your Much Ado project, which is DUE on 2/24-2/25.
Have an enjoyable break!

Friday, February 21st.
Have an enjoyable break!

A Summative Essay is Coming!
Remember to have your Novel Data Grid and your annotated novel ready to turn in on Monday (Odd day classes were to turn theirs in today).
I have modified the assignment sheet slightly by pushing the date for the summative essay over your novel back a day: Odd classes will write on Oct. 9th; even classes will write on Oct. 10th.
THIS IS A VERY IMPORTANT ASSESSMENT.
The best way to do well on it is to know your novel inside and out.
Have a Happy Homecoming!!
