  Unit 9 Test - Next Wednesday
Please begin preparing for the unit nine test.  It will be given on April 22, 2015.  It will consist of fifty multiple choice questions and two essays.  I will post all of my Power Points under the files section of this blog.

  Unit 4 Test - Friday and Monday
Please study for your unit 4 test.  The test will cover macro and international economic concepts.  Also, your study guide and vocabulary assignment are due on the day of the test.

  Assignment for Tuesday & Wednesday
Please bring your textbook to class on Tuesday, March 31, 2015 and Wednesday, April 1, 2015.  You will need your book to complete an assignment.

  Test on Friday!
You will have a test on Friday, April 3, 2015.  The test will cover World War II and the Cold War.  As always, your test will include approximately 40 to 45 multiple choice questions and an essay section.  You will have to choose two essays to complete.  Please access the Power Points and other study materials to help you prepare for the test.  Your study guide will also be collected on Friday.

You will have a quiz on the Federal Reserve.  Please take the time to read the chapter on the Federal Reserve.  You should be familiar with the following items:

1. What is the Federal Reserve, and what can it do?

2. What causes the nation’s money supply and interest rates to increase or decrease?

3. What is the reserve requirement?  What would happen if it was increased or decreased?

4. Explain monetary policy.

5. How can the Federal Reserve slow economic growth?

6. What is the difference between loose monetary policy and a tight monetary policy?
