Update
Here’s where we are after this week back from Christmas break. We have had an in-depth review session of the midterm, for which the average score was an 80. We are about halfway through our current book, Into the Wild by Jon Krakauer, and students have quizzed through the tenth chapter. We will resume our study of the psychology and linguistics behind advertising (students chose a brand to analyze) this coming week. Their extended outlines for this research paper will be due by the end of January, and the paper itself will be due sometime in February.
Please be reminded that every student’s AP tests must be registered for and paid for online, whether or not the student receives one test for free via free/reduced lunch. The deadline for registering for and paying for tests is January 23. Our AP Coordinator, Mrs. Beyke, has set up a blog detailing this and other crucial announcements, which you may read by following this link:

Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you!
