Audio Video Technology and Film Digital Learning Plan

 

Although school is cancelled due to COVID-19, your education will not be disrupted. This course will switch to a fully online digital format until school resumes.

Schoology

  • All assignments will be posted on Schoology
  • It is your responsibility to check Schoology which will be updated to reflect what you are expected to be working on at home
  • Each class has different assignments. You may encounter PowerPoints, worksheets, review games, video examples, video projects, study guides, and a midterm exam. Follow the directions closely to complete each assignment
  • Be sure to keep up with the due dates of each assignment
  • All of the assignments in Schoology will be graded

I do not have printing capabilities at home.  How am I supposed to complete the assignment?

If you do not have printing capabilities at home, you may complete the assignment digitally or complete the assignment on a separate sheet of paper. You will turn this paper in by taking a picture of your completed assignment and emailing it to me at the following email address: [email protected]

 

How will I take a quiz or test?

Each class will be taking their midterm digitally. You will be asked to take your midterm via Schoology. The timed assessment will be open for submissions from 8:30am – 11:00 pm. You only have 1 day to take this exam. Make sure you check the date of your exam!

 

NOTE

The digital classroom will run very much like our regular classroom. You will be expected to complete all assignments given. Deadlines will be given, and students who do not meet the deadlines will receive zeros.  Cancelled school is not vacation time. You are expected to be completing schoolwork at home during this time. When physical school resumes, we will pick up where digital learning left off. You must stay up to date to avoid falling behind and hurting your grade
