I graduated from Florida A&M University in 2001(GO RATTLERS) with a B.S. in History-Education. I taught in Florida (Inverness & Orlando) schools until 2006 when I moved to Atlanta to continue fostering a fantastic career in education. I received my M.Ed from Kennesaw State University and love coming to work daily!

Synergy Information
Both parents and students can get logins to Synergy with a photo ID. This can be done at Open House on August 30th or in Russell Hall during regular office hours. If you have a login from a Cobb County middle or high school from last year, it will remain the same. One of the most powerful tools on the program is the Email Notifications (under Options on the left toolbar). After entering your email you can choose to receive:
 Automatic notification if your child has an unexcused absence
 An attendance summary to be sent at a set time every weekday or on a specific day of the week
 A grade summary to be sent at a set time every weekday or on a specific day of the week
 A student assignments report to be sent at a set time every weekday or on a specific day of the week
 An automatic grade notification when any grade is ___ (alerting you if it has fallen to a B…or a C…or lower…)
Entering your email also allows you to receive any announcement or update emails that your student’s teacher may send out directly from the Pinnacle system. You must update these settings at the beginning of each school year, so while your login from last year will still work you will need to reset your notifications.
