  School Closing
During the time that the Cobb County School systems are closed students will be expected to continue to work on their online courses. In gradpoint, they can work their way through lessons and quizzes and then take all post tests on their return to school. If you have questions or need me to review a lesson or quiz, I can be reached by email or through the remind app. If you are utilizing remind, search for gradpoint9 in the app. If you wish to sign up by text, then text gradpoint 9 to 81010. I will be available during regular school hours to respond to emails and remind questions. I have attached a copy of the digital lesson plan in my files.

  Study Skills
The Study Skills class is an opportunity for students to improve their basic reading and math skills as well as receive additional support for their current academic classes. Students will spend twenty minutes a day reading and then write a short summary of what they have read. Each day, they will complete their agenda and track their assignments for their other three classes. Study skills and organizational skills will be incorporated into the class. If your child is struggling in any specific area or if you feel they need additional support in any one area, please contact [email protected] or [email protected].

We look forward to working with your child during this semester.
