I was born and raised in Rome, Georgia where the majority of my family still lives. I went to high school at Darlington School and started my college career in Ohio at Denison University. After two years I transferred to the University of Georgia and majored in History. After college I moved to Santa Fe, New Mexico for two years and worked in the restaurant industry. I left New Mexico and went back to Athens and got a masters degree in Social Studies Education. This is my fifthteenth year teaching at McEachern. My husband, Ryan, and my daughter, Emory and I live in east Cobb.  My daughter is 8 and goes to Timber Ridge Elementary.  I enjoy excercising, naps on my couch, college football and chocolate.
