Biography:

Mrs. Beyke is in her 26th year of teaching at McEachern High School. A graduate of McEachern, Mrs. Beyke received a B.S. in Broad Field Social Sciences from Berry College and a Masters of Educational Technology from Boise State University.  She has gifted education certification and is AP, AVID, and IB certified.

American Government is a one-semester course, required for graduation, which studies the creation and development of United States Government.  Citizenship rights and responsibilities are emphasized throughout the course.  Topics to be covered will include foundations of government; political participation; civil rights and liberties as well as the legislative, executive and judicial branches.

AP Psychology is a yearlong course that meets every other day.  It is a social studies elective course that counts towards the HOPE GPA.  Students will prepare for the national AP Exam given in May of each school year in an attempt to earn college credit.
