• What has been the most pivotal moment in the book thus far and why?

• Write a reflective journal entry about your reading thus far. Note:  You may focus on pages 59-103 or just today’s assigned reading. 
• Summarize the reading. The first half of any journal response should involve a concise summary and analysis of the book and any main points the author seems to make.
• Respond to the reading with your own commentary. Share your thoughts/ opinions about the setting, characters, key events, author’s writing style, and/or etc…
• Make connections to the text: text to text, text to world, and text to self.
