Art Club: Unite artists on campus to help build awareness of art program. Special art projects, museum trips, competitions, etc. After school activity (3:30 – 5:00) include art showcases & competitions, museum visits and exhibition of artwork on school campus.

Art & Literary Magazine: The mission of “The Native” art & literary magazine is to bring together creative ideas of students and provide a venue for emerging artists and writers. The magazine will provide an opportunity to share creative talents with the local community and school.

BETA Club: Academic achievement; community service. Activities include Shopping With An Indian, Relay for Life, Elementary service.

Boys Volleyballl Club: Provide the opportunity for male students to participate on a school organized volleyball team. Ms. Walker

Caribbean Club: Inform students about Caribbean islands. Help Caribbean kids get in touch with their roots and provide another club with diversity. Mr. Kirkland

Debate Team: To teach students how to become an effective speaker. Activities are after school practice and weekend competition.

Drama Club: The purpose of Drama Club is to allow students with a passion for theatre and performing to find a community of like-minded individuals.

FCA (Felllowship of Christian Athletes): To present athletes and coaches and all whom they influence the challenge and adventure of receiving, living, and serving Jesus Christ. Activities include Thursday Huddle meetings at 7:30 in the PAC and Quarterly Rallies.

FCCLA (Family, Commuinity, Career Leadership of America): To develop future leaders, campus and community oriented that will lead by example and actions. Activities include competitions, campus based safety outreach competition based debates and contests for students to learn basic principles of competing.

First Robotics Team: To build and compete in a regional robotics competition. Activities include community service and community awareness, Georgia Tech kickoff, Regional event in March for three days.

First Tech Challenge (FTC): To offer students the opportunity to compete head to head with personally designed robots, using a sports model. Teams are responsible for designing, building and programming their robots in a 10-week build period to compete in an alliance format against other teams. The robot kit is reusable from year-to-year and is programmed using Java or the MIT App Inventor. Teams, including coaches, mentors and volunteers are required to develop strategy and build robots based on sound engineering principles. Awards are given for the competition as well as for community outreach, design, and other real-world accomplishments.

French Club: Promote the study of French language, culture and the connections of the Franco phone world to our students. Activities include after-school films, cultural excursions, trips to museums, speaking competitions and authentic experiences.

French Honor Society: Honor students in levels III, IV, V and AP French Program. Provide Community Service opportunities. Induction, book drive and Petanque Tournois.

GAMA Aircraft Design Challenge: To offer students the opportunity to utilize STEM knowledge to create and/or modify existing aircraft designs utilizing the Engineering Design Process to optimize the flight payload and operational distance using online flight simulator software provide by GoFly USA a company devoted to preparing today’s students for careers in the aviation community.

Horizon Education Drone Competition (HEDC): To offer a fun and engaging opportunity for students to develop STEM skills and utilize the Engineering Design Process to create, modify and repair unmanned Aero Vehicles. This experience will allow students to develop the skills and experience needed in the growing drone operator field in agriculture, construction, law enforcement and science research careers.

HOSA (Health Occupations Students of America): To enhance the delivery of compassionate, quality healthcare by providing opportunities for knowledge, skill and leadership development of all health science technology education students, therefore, helping students to meet the needs of the healthcare community.
Activities include March of Dimes week, Breast Cancer Walk, Reading Team Bake Sale Fundraiser in Fall and State Leadership Conferences.

King’s Club: To empower, uplift and enlighten the young males of McEachern through positive role modeling and mentorship. Ms. Hill

Makers Space: Allow space and opportunity for students to design, create and collaborate.

Math Team: to help members with homework, provide problems solved with math in the workplace, compete in County, State and National competitions and have FUN doing math! Travel to competition in the County or State. Meet weekly in FC 04 or practice math and help with homework and studying.

McEachern Ladies of Unity: To provide mentoring to young ladies through community service, peer tutoring.

MHS Fashion Club: To inform MHS students on fashion trends and fads; to provide students interested in exploring fashion careers post-secondary school with an outlet. Ms. Hill

Mighty Indian Cheer Squad: To allow students in the low incidence classroom to participate in an extra-curricular activity.

National Honor Society: To recognize students with a 3.75 GPA or higher, to provide scholarship information and service opportunities. Activities include Must Ministries, Kennesaw Trail Cleanup and Induction Ceremony.

National Technical Honor Society: to recognize outstanding student achievement in career and technical education. To provide scholarships and develop leadership through community service.

PRIDE: To promote awareness and understanding of individuals and diversity of student body. A place for students to have a support system for understanding sexuality orientation of themselves/others. Activities include bi-weekly meetings, discussions and day of silence.

Reading Team: Read from the Helen Ruffin Reading Bowl list with the purpose of competing in the Reading Bowl.

S.A.D.D. (Students Against Destructive Decisions): To provide students with the best prevention tool possible to deal with the issues of underage drinking and other drug use, risky and impaired driving and other destructive decisions. Activities include Red ribbon Week; Click It or Ticket (fall and spring); Pre-Prom Pledge and safe driving.

Science and Nature Club: The purpose of this club is engage students in science based activities and explorations. Activities include work in greenhouse, help maintain Nature Center, participate in Adopt a Stream Program and Recycling.

SKILLS USA: Skills USA empowers its members to become world-class workers, leaders and responsible American Citizens. Skills USA improves the quality of our nation’s future skilled workforce through the development of framework skills that include personal, workplace and technical skills grounded in academics.

Tri-M Music Honor Society: International music honor society for high school students of Orchestra, Chorus and Band. It is designed to recognize students for their academic and musical talents. Activities include community service projects, scholarship fund, and annual Tri-M performance.

Vibe Dance: To provide a creative outlet through dance for students; to provide halftime and pep rally entertainment at McEachern sporting events. Ms. Hill

Video Gamers’ Club: Introduce new ways to network through similar interests such as video games. Improve public speaking skills and allowing students an outlet. Activities include discussions on gaming, consoles, etc., bi-weekly meetings a year of age appropriate parent permission video gaming.
