The Booster Club at John McEachern High School supports all athletic teams through membership dues, concession sales, and other fundraisers. Those funds go toward supplying our students with the best equipment and facilities possible. The Booster Club solicits the parents of the student athletes to assist in concession work and fundraisers.

2008 McEachern Booster Club Scholarship Criteria
Due April 1 to Coach Dorsey
Scholarship Application
Requirements to Apply

Must have completed a minimum of three years at McEachern High School.

Parent or legal guardian must be a voting member of the McEachern Booster Club as of December 31, 2007.

Must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.5 or better.

Must have completed the season as a player on a roster, team manager, sports medicine trainer or wrestling assistant on a McEachern Athletic team.

Must submit an essay, “What event, challenge or individual in your life do you believe has helped you become who you are today?”

Three teacher recommendations, one must be core class teachers, one from a coach of participating sport.

Provide proof of grade point average and minimum 3-year completion at McEachern High School from school counselor with a formal transcript provided in a sealed envelope.

One letter of recommendation from community service or volunteer leader.
*All items 1 – 5 must be completed and submitted in a sealed envelope to Coach Dorsey’s office no later than April 1, 2008. |
