The first annual McEachern baseball “Back to School” Camp Series concluded last Saturday, August 15. The camp was held on the first three Saturdays in August and were subdivided to cover all different positions of the sport; Pitchers and catchers, an offensive day, and a defensive day. Hosting an average of 30 players each Saturday ranging from ages 6 to 14. Camp was wrapped up by guest speakers; head coach from Cleveland State Community College, Mike Policastro(left) and head coach of Truett McConnell College, Mike Croley (right). The coaches gave campers an insightful look into the college recruiting process and how it works at their college, giving some parents and campers an early look into what their futures may hold. The McEachern coaching staff and players can’t thank the community enough for their support!
