Taking the Alcohol and Drug Awareness Program (ADAP) class and passing the related test is mandatory to obtain a driver’s license in the state of Georgia. The program is not mandatory for a permit.
McEachern provides this program to all new freshmen every year. The school sets aside two afternoons for the students watch several videotape presentations. After these presentations, the students will take a test to see how well they learned the information.

The Georgia State Patrol offers a four-hour course over two evenings (both days required) at pre-determined class sites. Exact dates, times, and locations can be obtained by calling 404-669-2942. No pre-registration is necessary unless indicated.
