Philosophy
Our comprehensive school counseling program is predicated on the belief that all students are unique and dynamic individuals, capable of becoming responsive and productive adults. Our program is proactive and preventative in nature and is committed to meeting the needs of ALL students through the use of data to drive the development and evaluation of age appropriate programs and lessons delivered systematically by professional school counselors.

Mission Statement
The mission of the McEachern High School’s counseling program is to provide a comprehensive, developmental counseling program addressing the academic, career and personal/social development of all students. McEachern High School's counselors are professionals, who, in cooperative partnerships with administrators, teachers, parents, community members, and agencies, provide a comprehensive program to assist students in maximizing their potential. We strive to provide students with the tools and knowledge necessary to do the following: to cope with life issues; to be prepared with the skills required to accomplish their personal goals; to become life-long learners; and to be productive members of society.
