McEachern High School's mission is to make learning and student achievement a priority. The school offers a wide variety of courses with an increasing number of academic electives, aiming to increase rigor and support the individual needs of students.
Students at McEachern High have the opportunity to enroll in honors level and Advanced Placement courses, complete career-related courses that articulate into technical school credit, and complete on-line courses for credit recovery through NovaNet.
McEachern offers after school tutoring for students needing additional assistance in their academic courses. Tutoring is conducted by subject-area teachers and supported by National Honor Society students.
A budding academic program called “AVID” (Advancement Via Individual Determination) has been adopted to support students with exceptional ability and push them to higher academic rigor and achievement.
